The Monte Carlo Fan Company Introduces New Fans; Gives Consumers Ways to Be More Energy Efficient This Summer

Looking for summer time savings? As the temperatures rise, ceiling fans are an affordable option for saving money when it comes to keeping you cool and comfortable. To help in the savings, The Monte Carlo Fan Company introduced four new ceiling fans in sleek designs that will blend into any home décor.

Next remove the motor casing and clean off all the dust from the surrounding areas. Clean the light fittings in warm soapy water, and after drying, polish them if needed. Make sure everything is dry before fitting the light back on the fan.In the last 10 years, Americans have bought more than 60 million ceiling fans, according to Seattle City Light, Seattle's publicly owned electric power utility. While a ceiling fan does not specifically lower the temperature in a room like an air conditioner, it does make the body feel cooler by providing a circulatory breeze. Effective circulation can make you feel up to 8 degrees cooler, and reduce air conditioning bills by up to 30 percent. Plus, using a ceiling fan with an AC can help save on utility costs by allowing your temperature to be raised two degrees without sacrificing comfort.Once in a while, say once to twice a year (perhaps more frequently it depends on how much the fan is used) you will want to give the fan a more thorough cleaning. To do this you will need a ladder to get to the fan. Once again spread the plastic below the fan. If the fan has a light fixture attached, carefully remove the bulbs from the fixtures be careful not to burn yourself on hot bulbs. Then, if possible, remove the light fixture. Wipe the blades clean with a dry cloth. Spray some domestic cleaner on a piece of clean cloth and wipe the blades again. Repeat this until the blades are clean. Be careful not to spray the cleaner directly on the fan. If any liquid should go into the motor housing, it could cause serious damage.Waxing the blades with car wax will prevent dust from sticking to the fan blades and make future cleaning easier.Contact: Jody De Vine The Monte Carlo Fan Company 856-764-0500 ext. 7442 jdevine@SeaGullLighting.comThis season's newest ceiling fans by Monte Carlo include:
